People

Four people, one way of thinking.

Transformation is a people problem, so we begin with people: how they speak, what they already do well, and what makes them act. Read in order, our four headlines describe how we work.

01 · Research

Abhivyakti

BA (Hons) Psychology, Ashoka University

Discover tribal instincts to encode in design.

A cognitive psychologist by training and an empathetic counsellor by passion. Abhivyakti leads our research through the lens of language, learning and behaviour triggers: how people actually speak, how they pick things up, and what makes them act. She listens for the shortcuts and unwritten rules people already follow, so that what we design speaks their language.

02 · Experience design

Adyanth

B.Des (HCD), Srishti College of Art & Design

Design symbiotic and meshed interactions to mimic true workflows.

A design professional by training and a footballer by passion. Adyanth leads experience design through the lens of football: teamwork, strategy, patience and goal orientation. Good play is never fully scripted. Players read one another and adapt, and that is how he designs tools to work alongside people rather than over them.

03 · Strategy

Rajesh Natarajan

MBA, Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning

Solve problems through better definition.

A strategist with over three decades of experience, focused on ideas, functional delivery and behaviour change. Rajesh holds that most problems are hard because they are poorly defined, and that the right definition often points straight at the answer. Two decades in advertising, brand strategy and behaviour change came first. From 2013–14 he worked on large technology transformation projects for the Government of India as an independent contractor to the government businesses of PwC and EY: the criminal justice system for the Ministry of Home Affairs, and rural skills and livelihoods for the Ministry of Rural Development. The thread through both careers is using communication to influence adoption, which left him with a keen understanding of innovation adoption challenges and a habit of designing sharply focused experiences.

04 · Delivery

Manjula R Natarajan

MBA, Lucknow University

Contextualize solutions.

A practical, no-nonsense doer with over three decades of experience, focused on simplifying complexity and crossing the finishing line. Manjula started in media, interpreting large volumes of data to inform media investment decisions, and moved naturally into investment banking, working out returns on invested capital. She has worked with brands including Mudra, The Times of India and EY, and has partnered with Rajesh in mentoring start-ups from bootstrapped beginnings to sustainable businesses and brands. She is also our first user: the technology user who gates complex ideas and keeps all of us focused on simplicity, delivery and behaviour yield.

See this thinking applied to a real problem.
